What Makes GMV Hydraulic Lifts Different

GMV hydraulic lifts use an oil-driven piston mechanism to raise and lower the elevator car. The hydraulic power unit, consisting of a motor, pump, reservoir, and control valve, is typically installed at the lowest level adjacent to the elevator shaft. When the pump pressurises the hydraulic oil, it pushes the piston upward, lifting the car. Descent is controlled by gradually releasing oil through the control valve, providing a smooth and controlled ride in both directions.

Advantages for Indian Buildings

Hydraulic lifts are especially well-suited for Indian residential buildings and low-rise commercial structures for several reasons. They require no overhead machine room, making them ideal for buildings with limited rooftop space or structural constraints at the top of the building.
